AppSync For iOS 4 To Install Cracked Apps On Jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch

If you want to try out a cracked app on your iPhone or iPad before you decide to buy the full version, then you need to install the .IPA file manually without using iTunes. AppSync is a free cydia app, similar to Installous which patches the Mobileinstallation file on your iPhone or iPad, thereby letting you install the .IPA files manually.

Note: This article is for informational and educational purpose only. We do not recommend using cracked apps on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

For all those who were able to jailbreak iPhone or iPod Touch on iOS 4, here is how you can install cracked apps on your iDevice:

1. Launch Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone or iPod Touch.

2. Tap on Manage, then Sources.

3. Tap Edit and then Add.

4. Enter http://cydia.hackulo.us and tap Add Source.

5. Tap Add Anyway when asked for a confirmation, and let Cydia add the repo and update it’s sources.

6. Tap Return to Cydia.

7. Now search for AppSync for OS 4.0 and install this application.

That’s it. From now on, you can install any .IPA files manually on your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Installing cracked .IPA files

Doing this is as simple as double clicking the downloaded .ipa file and syncing it with your device through iTunes. As soon as you press Sync, the installation is started.

UPDATE 1: AppSync 4.1 For iOS 4.1 is now available.

i cud install AppSync (Appsync for 4.x is also available in Sinful Iphone Repo, if you have it already). The .ipa files also installed without errors. But when I try to start the apps, nothing happens – the apps just refuse to open. Tried restarting the iphone again just to be double sure. But to no luck.
Please help.

  well thats because the ipa files your trying to install are for ios 3.1.x you have to download them again (latest version). you”ll find all the ipa files you need on apptrackr.

When I tried to install appsync I get an error
“The requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automatically found or fixed”

100% fantastic do not how it works but it does, installed appsync but do not know how to start it (can’t find it) but do not care as it works. Download the app dubble click opens itunes sync programms and ready

I have an iphone 4 with 4.0 pre-installed and got the appsync and itunes still removes my cracked apps.

i’ve installed appsync on iP4 4.0.1 jailbroken.. There is no icon of it and i coped one ipa game on teh phone from my pc and when i use ifilebrowser and double click it does all other stuff other than install.

How do i install files i download on my pc?

  appsync just patches your mobileinstallation file, so you cannot see any icon on your homescreen.
  
  1. Restart your iPhone after installing AppSync.
  2. Important: First of all you should install any application (free or paid) from App Store.
  3. Connect using USB cable and open iTunes.
  4. Copy the .ipa file to iTunes library and let iTunes sync it to your device.
  5. The installation should start after the sync.

ok i have an ipod touch 64gb and i jailbroke it a while ago and its been working fine. Well stupid me reinstalled appsync on the ipod…I had appsync 3.1 and wanted to upgrade to appsync 3.1.2….and it shut off. I plugged it back into my computer and re-ran blackrain (like ive done plenty of times) but this time it went to the blackrain logo (like usual) and it stayed there for a while. Then that little white circle thing came up and started to spin (kinda). It stayed that way and moved a little bit every few minutes then it just shuts off and reboots. Now my computer says it recognizes it because it has the popup to download the pics on the ipod (the auto play). I don’t want to restore because I have a lot of important data on my ipod. Is there anyway to backup the ipod (while its off) so that I can just rejailbreak it and run it off my backup or is there anyway I can run jailbreak and it just be like it was before???? can you email me at briannabrock17881@yahoo.com

I’ve upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 4.1, download limera1n and cydia
then added the appsync 4.1
I have a problem, when i add any cracked apps the itunes doesn’t install it.
When it finishes, i can see the application installed on my pc but nothing on my iphone (there is no icon for the app)
PLEASE help me!!

I figuired it out (SRY )
delete the cracked application from itunes apps library
then close itunes, open it again…. add the cracked apps once again… then sync

Hi I already jailbroken my iphone 4 ver 4.1. I already transfered the cracked apps and played them. But now I downloaded new cracked apps and try to transfer them to my iphone. But itunes show sync is already done but the apps never showed up inside my iphone. Help pls. I can’t sync any apps now with my itunes. thanks.

Funciono para mi 100%, pero como que tenia problemas con el wifi del telefono ya que tenia deshabilitado el 3G y datos lo active y agarro el 3G pero ya funciono. Nimodo.

I’ve been doing this for a while now but many apps don’t work on my 4.0.1 jailbroken iPhone 3G. The apps just launch before exiting (crashing). I get this problem with many different apps yet it isn’t due to outdated apps as I most always download the latest apps. Anyone having the same problems as myself?
