Download iOS 4.1 IPSW For iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod Touch
The much awaited iOS 4.1 has been released by Apple for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. A Note For Jailbreakers And Unlockers
Stay away from iOS 4.1 until a working jailbreak is released. The PDF exploit that was used to jailbreak iOS 4.0.1 has been fixed in iOS 4.0.2, so JailbreakMe will not work. There is a possibility of jailbreaking with Redsn0w on iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 2G or PwnageTool on iPhone 3GS, but wait for confirmation before you go ahead. Stay tuned as we give more updates on this. Update 1 – Jailbreak iOS 4.1
You can now jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, and iPad 3.2.2 using either GreenPois0n or Limera1n. Both these tools are based on Geohot’s Limera1n exploit. A sudden turn of events has resulted in the Chronic Dev Team postponing the SHAtter exploit which was already shown to jailbreak iPod Touch 4G and Apple TV 2G for future devices.

Update 2 – Unlock iOS 4.1 iPhone 4 After GreenPois0n/Limera1n Jailbreak
iPhone 4 users can update to iOS 4.1 without upgrading baseband, and then unlock iPhone 4 using Ultrasn0w.
iPhone 3GS users however should use PwnageTool to jailbreak in case they want to preserve unlock. Jailbreaking with GreenPois0n or Limera1n needs updating to iOS 4.1, which will result in upgrading baseband, eventually loss of unlock.
Update 3 – Unlock For Baseband 05.14.02, 2.10.04
A good news for all iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users. As you are aware, the current version of Ultrasn0w cannot unlock the new basebands, 05.14.02 and 2.10.04.
Many of our readers ask us in comments when a new unlock is going to be available.Well, the answer is ‘Pretty Soon1′!
iPhone hacker Sherif Hashim has confirmed that he has an unlock for iPhone 4 and 3GS basebands 05.14.02 and 2.10.04 and may be releasing it soon after iOS 4.2 release.

iTunes 10.1 is the latest version.
you can jailbreak the 4.1 firmware by using greenpois0n 4.1 jailbreak software.

Rename the RAR file to IPSW.

Yes, you need to first jailbreak your iPhone 3GS on iOS 4.1. Use either PwnageTool 4.1 or Sn0wbreeze 2.1, do not use Limera1n or GreenPois0n as they will update your baseband.

Hello, I have an iPhone 3G that originally had 2.1 firmware,
I gave it to my lil bro in law to jailbreak and unlock it
and he updated it to the lastest version of iphone which I believe is 4.1? anyways, whatever he did didn’t work. He used limera1n or greenp0ison and now all it does is says iTunes and to plug in the usb cord. What do I do now?

@sumit… dude u cannot install the ipad ios on ur iphone… what i suggest is download the 4.1 ipsw (coz 4.2 boots tethered as of now)… then jail break it using sn0wbreeze… once this is done download redsn0w from (http://blog.iphone-dev.org/)…. read the instructions well…. as in place on your desktop in a folder named pwnage… its explained der…. then run redsnow… select your 4.1 original ipsw not the custom one u create with sn0wbreeze. click next, u’l get an option saying is your baseband fixed… CLICK NO IF UNCERTAIN (need not worry as it will tell u if ur basebands fixed, u can start it again)… ONLY SELECT INSTALL IPAD BASEBAND, & NOTHING ELSE LIKE CYDIA ETC IN REDSN0W. it will take 5 min approx & give u the 6.15 baseband… n u can unlock it. still ny problems leave apost here, will get back to u… hope this works…
Hi, I updated my iphone 3g to Baseband 6.15.00. I am now stuck in DFU mode and cannot get out of it. My iphone was updated to 4.2.1 on itunes 10, but when I try to restore it will not work. Also I want to downgrade back to 4.1 can anyone please help?????

Hey ! I have an iPhone 4 which when i bought from AT&T already came with 4.2.1 and I dont want that version. I’m trying to downgrade it to 4.1 ( i dont have the SHSH blobs ) and when i try to restore to 4.1 ( SHIFT + Left click and choose 4.1 Ipsw ) it wont work

The ipsw files are all downloading as zip files.
