Finally iPhone 4 has a carrier unlock, Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 which has been updated to support the latest iDevice from Apple by the iPhone Dev Team. You can now unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4 oriOS 4.0.1 baseband 01.59.00. The previous version of Ultrasnow could only unlock iPhone 3GS, 3G on baseband 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04.

Here are the steps to unlock iPhone 4 on iOS 4,iOS 4.0.1 using Ultrasn0w 1.0-1:

1. First jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4 or iOS 4.0.1 using JailbreakMe 2.0 Star.

2. Activate your iPhone using original SIM via iTunes. If you don’t have the original SIM, then here is a guide on how to activate iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, 3G without original SIM.

3. After jailbreaking and activating your iPhone 4, launch Cydia from your home screen.

4. Navigate to Manage –> Sources and touch on ‘Edit’.

5. Then touch on ‘Add’ and enter the URL http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com.

6. Tap ‘Add Source’ and let Cydia update it’s sources.

7. Now search for ‘Ultrasn0w 1.0-1’ in Cydia and install this iPhone unlocking tool.
